4. SCOREBOARDS, LEADERBOARDS & PHOTOS

Your team name and nickname appear on the screens in the venue while you play. Use a nickname if you’d rather not show your real name.

  • In-venue screens: show team names, nicknames and scores to other guests during your session.
  • Leaderboards: top scores may appear on venue leaderboards, our website and social channels. We show nicknames and team names only, never surnames, emails or contact details.
  • Your choice: ask a host on the night, or email privacy@slgames.co.uk, to remove your entry from any public leaderboard.
  • Offensive names: we may change or remove team names or nicknames that are offensive or break our house rules.
  • RFID wristbands: each tag links to your game session only. It does not track you outside the game zones, and the link to you ends when your session is closed.
  • Photos: we photograph and film some sessions and events for promotion. Signs will tell you when this is happening. Ask our team if you don’t want to be featured, and we will not use identifiable images of you.

We send marketing only when you’ve agreed to it, and you can stop it at any time.

  • Waitlist and newsletter: signing up means we’ll email you news, opening updates, offers and event dates.
  • Unsubscribe: use the link in any email, or email privacy@slgames.co.uk Booking confirmations and safety emails will still arrive, as they’re part of your booking.
  • Competitions and giveaways: we use your entry details to run the competition and contact winners. Some competitions are run with partners, such as a radio station or a creator, and the competition terms will name them. We may publish winners’ first names and town.
  • Games Testers: if you apply, we use your details to select testers and arrange your session. We may ask for feedback afterwards.
  • Social advertising: with your consent, we may share a hashed email list with platforms such as Meta or TikTok to show you relevant ads or to find people with similar interests. You can opt out at any time.
  • Referral and creator codes: if you book with a code, we record it so we know where bookings came from.

Children can only visit during Superlekka Juniors sessions, and a parent or guardian provides their details.

  • A parent or guardian completes the waiver for anyone under 18 and stays responsible for them during the visit.
  • We collect a child’s first name, date of birth and any safety information the parent chooses to share. We don’t ask children for their email address.
  • Children’s nicknames appear on in-venue screens during their session only. They are never added to public online leaderboards.
  • We never send marketing to children. We don’t use identifiable photos of children without the parent’s written consent.
